The Potent Power Of Menopause Book

“I Just Wrote a Book!” And Why That Still Surprises Me

“I just wrote a book!”

Those are the words that escape my lips every single time I finish writing one.
The excitement is real. The surprise is genuine.
And yet, by now, it really shouldn’t be.

At the time of writing this, I have published eight solo bookstwo as a co-author, with two anthologies and three additional solo titles almost ready for release. Still, every time I type the final sentence, I pause and think, “Wow… I did it again.”

One of those upcoming books is especially close to my heart.

The Potent Power of Menopause: Changing the Narrative

The Potent Power of Menopause: A Culturally Diverse Perspective of Feminine Transformation is curated alongside Clarissa Kristjansson, a leading global voice on menopause and host of Thriving Thru Menopause, the most listened-to menopause podcast in the world.

This book is designed to do exactly what DBI Publishing books do best:
disrupt outdated narratives, challenge dominant voices, and shake a few molecules simply by existing.

Menopause has been shrouded in whispers, myths, and misinformation for far too long.
Women are still told they are “broken” and need fixing.
Entire industries insist pharmaceuticals are the only solution.
And anyone who questions that story is quickly dismissed.

The timing of this book could not be more critical.

Where Are the Other Voices?

What concerns me most is not disagreement.
It’s exclusion.

Much of the menopause conversation centres on the experiences of white, Western, middle‑class women. Important voices, yes but not the only voices.

Where are the South and East Asian women?
The Arab women?
Latina women?
Indigenous women across the world?

Do they not understand their bodies?
Their cultures?
Their healing traditions?

Or have we unconsciously reverted to the arrogance of colonial thinking, the belief that one dominant narrative knows best for everyone?

These are uncomfortable questions.
They shouldn’t be controversial but apparently, they are.

Innovation Requires Challenge

We live in a world where disagreement is now framed as hostility.
Where questioning ideas is seen as offensive.
Where being challenged is mistaken for being attacked.

And yet, innovation only exists because ideas are challenged.

Progress happens when ideas are tested, debated, dismantled, and rebuilt.
Not just in science or technology, but in how our brains grow, adapt, and strengthen through neuroplasticity.

Being challenged is healthy.
Being stuck in one narrative is not.

So why do so many self‑proclaimed experts resist pushback?
Why does standing alone in truth feel more dangerous than repeating what’s already been said?

Because standing alone takes courage.

Writing Books That Create Legacy

To change distorted narratives, and to create work that outlives us, we must be willing to step away from the safety of consensus.

That’s what my books do.
And it’s what I demand of the authors I work with.

Every fact is checked.
Then checked again.
And then challenged.

Not because I enjoy being difficult, but because the public will be far more ruthless than I ever could be.

Authors who want to lead must be prepared to be questioned, criticised, and misunderstood.

That is the price, and the privilege, of influence.

Not Just a Writing Coach

I don’t teach people how to write pretty words.

I prepare leaders for visibility.
For scrutiny.
For responsibility.

I help authors expand their brands, sharpen their messages, and fully embody who they are becoming, not just as writers, but as humans, parents, leaders, and change‑makers.

As one co‑author of The Potent Power of Menopause, Su Winsbury, shared:

“Writing my chapter was transformational. It gave me a deeper understanding of who I am and what I truly believe.”

She wrote 7,500 words.
Imagine what 75,000 words could unlock.

Writing a Book Changes You

Writing a proper book, one that impacts humanity, is one of the most transformative journeys you will ever take.

It dismantles illusions.
It strengthens conviction.
It forces clarity.

And it calls you forward.

So if you feel drawn to challenge narratives, stand in your truth, and contribute to meaningful conversations around:

  • Breast health

  • Owning your ovaries

  • Being spiked or assaulted

  • Raising emotionally healthy men

  • Leaving a legacy for future generations

…then there may be a place for you in one of my upcoming anthologies.

Or perhaps it’s time for your solo book.

Books are arriving on the market soon that will trigger, provoke, and awaken people across the world.

The only question is this:

Will your book be one of the next I publish?

Only you can decide.
Only you can claim the sovereignty to be all of who you are.

And when you’re ready, you know where to find me.
