2020, the nasty alcohlic fruit drink from the early nineties?
The perfect eyesight?
2020 International cricket at Lords?
Or the board meetings from 5 years ago which bored you to tears because you didn’t actually understand what the vision really was?
Regardless of what 2020 conjures up in our minds, none of us can escape the non stop talk of the up and coming year; and let’s be honest, the next decade.
I’m pretty bored of it all already to be honest, and I have only been back on land for 7 days.
But then I have found I am getting pretty bored of a lot of content fellow coaches and so called visionaries are putting out there at the moment.
There is nothing new, just the same stuff with a slightly different body shot of boobage.
But then again what is new? Sex has always sold.
And what’s new to me, may not be new to you.
And what I believe to be normal isn’t normal to others.
It’s all about perspective and for some all my talk of energy and alignment is a bit too weird for the majority of people.
Self-made millionaire Katrina Ruth explains the whole energetic alignment concept perfectly in her latest post about why Donald Trump will win the next election.
A scary thought indeed, especially given that Boris Johnson having just won the UK elections.
With almost everyone (yes including me) writing, posting and thinking about 2020, one thing to remember is this: We are only ever in control right here, right now of this very moment.
(And there goes that Fatboy Slim track playing in the back of my mind)
Whatever 2020 conjures up in your mind, there’s no escaping that it doesn’t really matter whether we are at the beginning of a new calendar year or not, each and every day is the beginning of a new year.
Waiting for 1st January to take action, or waiting for the January sales to make that all important purchase says a lot about our level of commitment to our future vision, our scarcity around money and the belief we have in ourselves.
I could have waited until my boys were grown up and left home before embarking on this global book tour, but then would they have wanted to come visit me when they were older and living an independent life?
Waiting until I had millions in the bank and owned a boat to do a circumnavigation of the world was an option, but instead I chose to hitch hike around the world on boats, write another series of books all whilst being location free.
Some people have argued with me that not everyone is as brave as me, but the only difference between me and others is the choices I make to be brave, to be confident and to live the life I want to live.
As you know, everything comes down to the choices we make and the actions we take, nothing new and groundbreaking there, but the type of choices you can open yourself up to can be groundbreaking.
With still another 11 days until January 1st 2020, make the choice to live the life you have always wanted now, and if you want to find out more about how I can enable you to live the life you have always wanted, head on over to the contact page and either me or my team will get back to you as soon as possible.
Don’t wait, or procrastinate, because tomorrow is never promised, and the only present you really need is being present in the moment.
With love, as always, and enjoy the holidays!
