About Nath

From an early age Nath was a story teller.

Throughout his early life he followed creative pursuits from music, roles in high school musicals to creative writing. He dreamed of being an actor in his teenage years but as life does, life went a different way.

He wrote as a hobby through his early and mid-twenties, but it was not until his late thirties when he started stand-up comedy, that his writing became a focus.

In 2020 he was preparing to start writing his first hour comedy show to tour New Zealand’s Fringe Festival circuit, however he had no drive for comedy at the time and found himself writing stories once more. Within a month he had written the first draft of Slaveboy, which was published on 6th December 2020.

He quickly followed up with the second book in the series, Bloodchild.

After a life of looking, he had finally found his direction and his drive.

As a published author, he now has the medium to share his stories, share his vision and share his imagination.

Share the journey with him!

THE BRIEF

Nathan had created an alternative world of fiction which demonstrated the relationship between boyhood and manhood, as well as the development of a brotherhood amongst trauma survivors and how the relationship being mentee and mentor developed an incredibly strong bond. The story shows the mental resilience, inner strength and the power boys and men have, and what they are capable of when they truly work together. Slave Boy is the first in a series of possibly five or six books, and includes the development of a new world, new languages, times and measurements.
